Front bumper removal

can anyone talk me through removal and refitting of the front bumper on a 2001 octavia please?

1)Remove number plate

2)Carefully prise black insert strip away from bumper

3)On each side of bumper you'll see 2 bolts and a plate undo and remove

4)pull out the 2 side inserts of the bumper you'll see 2 nuts,one each side undo and remove

5)in each wheel arch undo the 5-6 screws securing the liner to the bumper

6)bumper should pull forward,would advise to have 2 people to do this so as you don't let it touch the floor

Just did this at the weekend on an 03, i used torx head drive to remove 5 from each wheel arch, 3 from the top, below grill when you open bonnet, two on the bottom centre (underneath) and two from behind each of the smaller grills on the front, left and right... i then used a kitchen knife wrapped in cloth and prised the black trim form each side where there were two bolts on each side to undo, this was a vRS bumper so may be slightly different... its very simple really oncle you have a look at it, its just a plastic shell rather then the bumper bar too...
