Octavia vrs (mrk 1)

The central locking started playing up earlier. It woulnt work on the key fob

but it would work manualy with the key in the lock. All doors would work fine.

Half an hour ago it all stopped working,I can only unlock the drivers door manually now.

Also the door open warning light on the dash stays on.

Any ideas anybody

I should also mention I have previously fitted the resonance dampers

One of the door micro switches by the sounds of it m8. Does the interior light work off all the doors?

no the interior light doesnt work with the doors

whats the switch like to change??

Ooo usually it'll work off one of the doors, does the boot light work? Have you checked your fuses? Does the central locking work off the interior switch?

The central locking works on the door switch but

In that case is sounds more like a wiring problem in the drivers door loom, could be 2 things a corroded multi plug or the window motor in the drivers door. Id check the multi plug first m8. If you do a search there's quitea few posts on it and pictures too

I'm just going by the fact the windows arn't working and the fact it started playing up first
