Factory Xenon Headlights

Featured Replies

Hi

I'm looking at replacing my passenger headlight which are factory fitted xenons (the headlight unit is broken and sliding in and out of the car) and was wondering what kind of price would I be looking at for a second hand set of of the factory xenon?

What kind of problems should I look out for too?

edit

I went to a breakers and they quoted me 150 for two standard headlights.

There is a set of factory xenons for sale here in Ireland for 200 and was wondering if it is good value or not?

IIRC,I saw a pair on ebay the other day for £350.

It's the one above^^^

200 (euro's?) sounds like a good price but be aware of the adjustment motors not working correctly. Xenon's have to auto adjust to be legal. I guess you could use your old light as a spare and possibly sell the other good one if you bought a pair.

150 for two standard headlights! Got a pair of brand new ones off ebay for 25quid! 15 for a secondhand single one normal one usually!

OEM xenons are like rocking horse sh**. Grab them while you can. Brand new they're something ridiculous like £800 the pair and the cheapest I've ever seen 2nd hand ones was £300

If you only need a bare xenon housing to replace a broken one, they are about £80-90 from TPS.
