Asus DVD-RW for laptop

Right,

So i bought this shiny Asus W3000N laptop.

All singing, all dancing.

Or so I thought. Only after carting it half-way round the world have I discovered why the price was a bit better than others - it's just a cd-rw/dvd-rom drive, not a dvd-rw.

Caveat emptor in a haze of gadgetitus delirium.

Mailing Asus to request price on the dvd-rw module for the laptop has yielded, as yet, no response.

So, any of our resident IT suppliers got the appropriate module in stock, or know a telephone number for Asus in the UK so I can talk to someone right now?
