Might be a cheap break for someone

Featured Replies

Hey folks,

Before I bought my VRS I looked at this one as a possible project to sell on/keep, It was declared as a CAT D. But infact on inspection it had been abit more that wasnt declared or had a major knock at some point after it was declared CAT D.

Guy at the auction was selling me it as a CAT D but when I went to put the money down i noticed that the wheels where out by a considerable amount, one of the front wheels was 2/3 inches closer to the bumper then the other. Had a mechanic come and look at it and he said its a bent chassis or a wishbone. But considering its a salvage yard selling it now, I'd say its more than a wishbone. Also needs the fuel sensor from Skoda or it cuts out in 1-2 seconds.

Might be worth salvage to come of you, car is dirty but from what I saw the interior just needs a good clean, nothing was broke, also only 3 alloys on it.

Might be worth a look, Hope I posted this in the right section/help anyone who may want to buy it.
