Superb boot lock

Featured Replies

Since I bought my Superb a year ago I've had a fault with the boot, it will only open off the remote fob, or via the key in the boot lock. I'm not convinced it's a fault with the CCM. And a couple of people I've spoken to have said it could be the contacts in the boot lock itself that have packed up, my question is, is there anyway of bridging these out so I can open my boot without key?

I bought superb yesterday and it has similar fault.

There is a key lock next to the boot unlock switch in the cabin, turn it and it will work. Also when locking the boot via the key turn it the other way and it will enable the touch button on the boot.

Read Skoda Superb Owner's Manual, pages 35-37 and it will all be revealed

Already done this, key switch in the car is fine, its the one on the boot that I suspect thats at fault, and could do with knowing if it's possible to bridge it out some how.

key in the boot also has 2 closed positions, one of them makes the lid button stop working.
