CD Help

Featured Replies

I have a 2002 Skoda Octavia TDi 1.9 with the 6 CD changer which is good in the most part.

The only problem is as many of you know that it will not play MP3 tracks.

The question I have is if I keep the tracks as the normal WAV file would I be able to do compliations of CDs in order to not have tracks that you don't like or tracks that are repeated on other CDs

I know that I can do direct copies of the CDs and play them through the 6 CD changer but was wondering if any of you had any ideas of this.

Any other suggestions would be grateful.

easiest way is to use something like Nero or Roxio media creator. Rip the CD's to MP3 format, and then using the software select New Audio CD, drag and drop the tracks into the layout in the order you want and hit burn. The files will be converted to the required format and recorded on the disk in a format any CD player can read.

Thanks, will try that as I have Roxio.
