I don't think it's a bad noise just curious about a whoooo type noise I get under quite hard acceleration. This isn't my car but this youtube link illustrates the noise at about 2-3 seconds in:

That's the trouble with noises - they are quite hard to describe. This is quite a distinctive noise over and above the normal sort of engine noises - it's probably something like: turbo whistle or induction roar or wastegate dump or... but I am not quite sure what each of those sound like. On the video the noise only lasts for a second at almost exactly the 3 second mark.

Yes can hear the noise you refer to and agree with Graham it's the turbo; either coming of the veins or waste gate; quite normal.
