Si I am amazed that 2 1/2 months on nobody has snatched your hands off for this .. at the asking price, especially as it will also fit a MKII Superb, MKII Octavia and Yeti, all of which no longer come with a spare wheel as std!!

I wouldn't put it on my car...the tyre is 10 years old. See the 3rd photo down...you can just see the figures '3402'. It was made in week 34, 2002.

The way I see it even if I replace tyre I get a cheap spare wheel. Only got goo and pump at the moment.

A spare wheel (especially these speed limited ones) are there to get you out of the crap and to a garage / home, not to used as a replacement.

Providing the rubber has not started to perish and crack then it will be more than up to it's job.

But as Baker said it's FREE FFS.
