I wasnt going to pay the price for the factory columbus upgrade, but this might tempt me when I can afford it ...

I assume the BT and satnav is built in to the head unit so its literally just a case of swapping units ?

I won't have maxi-dot on my car, so no worries with talking to that.

Personally I haven't seen that model before. The Columbus unit. I believe you are referring to is different from the one in your post. original Bluetooth is also a separate unit.

I had the Columbus retrofitted and this had to be coded to the can so that the CAN new it was there and. Everything worked trough it

I am no expert but would suggest you check the Above out before parting with your cash

Yep, as far as it reads this unit does it all in one, seems a good alternative to a columbus from the way it reads ...

No idea who makes it, it doesn't have the price tag of the genuine vag ones, but its worded like it is !
