Part number MkI tailgate "VRS" badge?

Featured Replies

Hello guys,

About 12 months ago i had some paint work done on the tailgate of the VRS as a result of which it was debadged. At the time i salvaged the "VRS" badge and using some 3M adhesive tape refitted using a dimension guide kindly supplied by another member here.

It would seem that this unusually nice March we are having has caused the tape to lose its stick, as when i went to the car today the VRS had fallen off!

I was just wondering if anyone knew the part number for the original (MkI) VRS Tailgate badge? Also, do they come ready with the adhesive glue filling or will i need to source this?

Lastly, does it come on a template at all, or will i need to crack out the spirit level again?

Cheers chaps! :)

Part number is k1u6853687arlaq

Price £19.52 all in I will also come with the octavia badge as one.

Get the new octy badge and vrs badge like me. :)

Toyed with the idea, but trying to keep it as standard as possible. Managed to stick the existing one back in place and it held through a quick blast with the pressure washer tonight :)

Got some water ingress on the front and rear Skoda badge so might buy a job lot when ive next got a couple of quid to spare (unless it falls off again!)

Love that exhaust Jase

Worth a think though as i prefer the lower case octavia no end!

Make it look more modern!

Cheers on exhaust but you have one fitted to your car! All i did with mine was cut the letterbox off and got twin tips welded in place so its still stock'ish' oem+ all the way
