Center Armrest Lid Replacing

Featured Replies

Evening All, hope everyone is well!!

As some of you know I have recently changed my interior to full leather, well the armrest was still cloth and has been annoying me. Finally I have bought a new lid to swap over, but haven`t a clue how to get the the existing lid off? Can anyone please help me? Cheers Dave

I removed the felt lining from the armrest when I did mine. There are two star head bolts in the middle of the lining and another two in the sides near the lid hinge. The lining can then be carefully prised away from the outer part of the armrest and removed. Once it's out it is fairly easy to then remove the lid from the lining.

they just pull off. give it a little twist and the lid will pop off. I re leathered mine a couple weeks ago and thats how mine come off.

Thanks Guys, I will have a look at both options tomorrow. I didn't just want to pull it and break the thing, so thought it would be safer asking the troops!!! Cheers again fellas.
