on the way home tonight the glow plug warning light came on and was flashing all way home,car was slugish to drive!anyone had this happen to there yeti?.

Hi,

would call out Skoda Assist, she's gone into lip mode, handbook states the following;

If the warning light begins to flash while driving, a fault exists in the engine

control. The engine management system selects an emergency programme which

enables you to drive to the nearest specialist garage by adopting a gentle style of

driving.

Don't know if this applies to the Yeti but I know that a flashing glow plug light was a warning to show that the brake lights were not illuminating, usually due to a faulty brake light switch.

thanks for the replys guys,had a short run on friday[about 4 miles] and been to work this morning[20 round trip] and no sign of the glow plug light,wonder if it was ...just one of thoes things!!! and the brake lights look ok also!

Mine did exactly this. Thought it had corrected itself, then did it again a couple of days later - took it to Skoda agent, found low fuel pressure.

Eventually found to be faulty fuel injectors which were replaced - I would take it to a dealer ASAP!
