change of alloys

Featured Replies

im thinking of changing the alloys on my vrs as its on the 17inch zeniths and they are just not doing it for me on the car,my question is do the new audi-vw-seat alloys go striaght on with no spacers etc,as ive been looking on ebay for replacements but abit unsure what will fit

cheers mark

Pretty much anything that's come off a mk5/mk6 Golf/Jetta, new shape SEAT Leon or new shape Audi A3/TT will go straight on as they're basically the same car underneath and will all have about the same offsets. Any others that are 5x112 will probably be fine too - just watch the offsets

I have some winter alloys for mine with offsets of 38...they fit perfectly and don't stick out of the wheel arch; and cut the need for spacers. Standard Zeniths are 51 (which I have for my summer tyres) and the difference of 13mm makes the car look just that little bit more refined. I'm thinking of getting the 18" ones that come with the new VRS...

I know what you mean...

16 inch Skoda Vega... cheap, easy to clean, tyres are very cheap..... not forgetting the extra comfy ride....
