Jvc vs Symphony

I want to put a new JVC HU into the Octy in place of the 6disc Symphony. Anyone have any ideas as to what, if any, additional connectors/leads I will need or are they compatible?

The 6cd changer is pretty much compatible with nothing other than the Symphony itself, apparently.

It's a Grundig unit custom made for Skoda (or is that VAG generally, I dunno).

I can live without the changer I guess...is the HU just a straight swap?

Hi All, I know this is a topic that seems to have been covered a million times but my vRS has become a problem child. It was losing a small amount of coolant and I would get the odd whisp of steam from the back, I diagnosed a leaking EGR Cooler (confirmed with off car pressure test) and a small water pump leak. I replaced both and thought my work here was done. However it now seems to have made losses worse, this time from the reservoir, so yesterday I did a 90 min motorway drive and by the t

Airbag error, what can reset it?

During my hardwire dash cam install, I removed the trim which holds the passenger airbag switch and unplugged it. Now (unsurprisingly) I have an airbag error on the dash. I’ve cycled the ignition a few times in hopes that would reset it, I also tried enabling and disabling the airbag with the key, still no joy. Is this something I can reset at home? I’m hoping something like ODBeleven free plan can do it, but it’s difficult finding out what the free plan can actually do.
