Isn't this a bit pricey ?

Featured Replies

Common practice on dealer demonstrators to artificially inflate the price whilst the car isn't available for sale.

In June they will lower the price and try to convince prospective buyers that they are making a substantial saving.

Yes he only had it 2 weeks, its Phils demo car very nice spec I can imagine he doesn't hope it will go to quickly :)

Once they can sell it I am sure you could get a little more off the price.

Not sure about the colour, imo it doesnt suit the car at all

I agree hence I opted for Race blue :)

The dealer clearly isn't particularly knowledgeable either as the Octavia isn't available with "Bi-Xenon" headlights, only standard xenon's.

Twenty five grand for an Octavia???

Would anyone on here spend that on a Skoda diesel car???

When you look at the options on the car its easy to see that costing £25,000 I agree for that money most people would buy a new one.

They had a black one at that price not so long ago and that sold :)

I think that would be someone in the admin side as the dealer certainly knows what lights they come with, as you point out it should be "Xenon Headlights And AFS II/Dynamic Angle Control" IIRC

Yes. I paid just over £15k for a new CR in 2008 and whilst it was a pre facelift, not DSG, and didn't have xenons, it is still the same car at the end of the day.

With the greatest respect.... there are some awfully great cars that cost a lot less and in 3 years your looking at a 50% loss?

To be fair at least this dealer has made the effort to list the optional extras.

When I was looking for my used Octavia it took me ages to find one with xenon's, half the time the dealers didn't bother to list them.

This is where i recently purchased my skoda , except it was the Bedford branch . I found that when they did there listings the specs where close but not always accurate although if you call they do a walk around on the phone with you etc .

Very good to deal with i found anyhow .

That is so expensive!!!! But the green is like the btcc one

As already mentioned 25k could buy you,,, an Audi a4 a mondeo !!!!!

What would I do,,,, walk past and pick my black or racing blue Octavia!!!

£25k gets you a second hand Golf R. That's where my money would go, not on a second hand diesel vRS.

Check out motorpoint get the same car for £9K cheaper... yes thats right "NINE THOUSAND POUNDS"

I live next door to motorpoint and keep popping in, the cars they have look new to me maybe 6 months old tops and some are high specs too.

Thats a lot of money, however i have to admit i do like the vrs in green. :bandit: The full leather interior looks nice.

Or how about the 2010 Porsche Boxter Nav in silver for £25 grand???

You only live once...

With all due respect, you don't look at 5 dr family cars and come home with a 2dr sports car, Divorce springs to mind :giggle::rofl:

24k on a Skoda? with the customer service i have received! i would rather poke my eyes out with a shi-tty stick.
