Would burnt orange (as found on Seat Toledo) work on an Octavia ?

dont be sorry mate, i like it coz not many other people do. i like to be different and dont lkke common colours like black, silver, blah blah... if i could re-spray my car tomorrow i would do it! HATE silver cars! lol

Its more of a colour for american cars like the charger. Suites that well. Also the 350z wears it nicely.

I like blues but you're right about it being mistaken for an inferior mk2! Wonder how'd it look in one of the greens?

Anthracite/metal steel grey is a bit like black, works well on most cars.

Becoming quite common though - again, there's a mk.2 Octy in a very similar colour :(

I like that colour,i had a burnt orange primera,nice colour,i think a mk 1 vrs in burnt orange with black wheels could look quite nice,mind you i went from a black mk1 octy vrs(which i think looks a bit dated nowadays) to a "heavy lard arse mk2"!! lol.
