Yeah, the panel where the bonnet latch lives.... is yours rusty?

Mines got spots of bubbling all over it.. I'm guessing from stones getting through the grille? I'd never noticed but I gave it a wipe over today..

Surprised it's not galvanised.

That's the slam panel. If you want a spare one to perhaps repaint or whatever, give me a shout. Doubt I will ever use it personally.

Thanks Jason but it doesn't bother me... was just wondering if it was just mine?... Won't bother wiping it down again now

My car only has 50,000 on the clock and even mine is bubbling up a bit, although doesn't look too bad when cleaned (yet). Didn't think stones would get in there with enough energy to create that kinda damage?

Its quite easy to take off and respray, only about 6 bolts I think excluding the ones for the bonnet catch

One of mine has this and one hasn't.

The SDI is the one with the rust but it has done 35k more than the vRS.
