I have just been informed that my order placed in March is still awaiting a planned build date. Apparently this is due to confirmation of MY13 scheduling.

Are there any MY13 Octavia specification changes that I should be aware of?

There is an all new Octavia due out in 2013

Depending on when that's actually released, officially - and when manufacture of the first cars start, that could well be an MY14

are you sure about it? right now there is speculation for a late 2013 launch..

I ordered mine in March, got a build date within a couple of weeks, and was built two weeks ago, seemed quite quick so not sure what your hold up is really? Irrelevent really as the dealer ordered the wrong options so had to reorder so am now back down the bottom of the queue, that reminds me I really should pop in and see whats going on with mine!

My brother ordered his near the end of march his build date is week commencing 30th April. It's a rally green Tsi Hatchback with DSG and a fair few options.

I have ordered a VRS Estate with CR. I have ordered the following options: Black magic, black alcantara, heated seats, rear parking sensors, maxi dot, spare wheel. Are any of these likely to be the reason for the delay?

MPG simple as that really, I always promised myself a petrol VRS and pleased that I have had it, but it just seems to cost a lot to run, always visiting the pumps, so crossing over to the world of heavy oil, thats all, having driven the CR DSG its obviously not as fast or as quiet as the TSI but it will serve me well and will save me money, so thats my compromise!

If you order a new one in Ireland it comes with black alcantara, rear sensors, max idiot and spare as standard. Also has the Amunsden sat Nav too as they are low on Boleros. Check out if it has the Nav as its worthwhile looking into.

Do you know for definate that they are running low on Boleros and putting Amundsens in instead? As I will be ****ed if they send through my original car with an Amundsen and then my correct car a month or so later with a Bolero!

Ordered my VRS estate CR DSG third week in March and have been waiting for build date confirmation. Dealer not overly communicative.

Phoned the dealer yesterday as need car for June and was told has been built and is at docks awaiting shipping! Should get it in May.
