  1. Last pic of my bus. Unfortunately it didn't do it for me on the end, preferred my old VRS which is weird. Second pic dirtier than it has ever been next to it's replacement, a used 330d. Someone's going to get a cracker of a car.
  2. My wife has a 4 year old F10 520d with the 8 speed sports auto box. I prefer it compared to my manual for comfort but the all round perceived build and refinement are streets ahead. It was a lot cheaper than my sportline too. I'm veering towards a late w212 E-Class at the moment, maybe an early new model. The superbs only 8 months old and 9k miles but it's just not doing it for me. I've been disappointed by the build mostly, have loads of rattles which means even moderate throttle is irritating me. If I solve the issues with some careful trim removal I would be tempted to keep it and remap it though.
  3. Quick detail done to keep the ceramic happy.
  4. Stuck Eagle F1s on my vrs last time and they were drastically quieter than the Potenzas that came from the factory. Same thing on the previous Leon FR. When the time comes for the sportline the P7s are going to be swapped for F1s. Just worth noting that the asymetric 2s have better kerb protection than the 3s if you're looking.
  5. As it was with my Jul-15 VRS, the superb does this too. Usually when the radio has it's usual wobbly every few weeks. Once it restarts all is well. Think it's the software on the headunit causes it.
  6. Might have stopped doing them maybe? It's over two years since I bought them.
  7. These are what I will be putting on anyway. http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/Wheels/Center-wheel-caps-with-new-2012-logo-original-Skoda-Autoas-MONTE-CARLO-black-version-F9R
  8. Mines 4 months old and already showing signs of wear. Always happens them. I’m just going to get the black centre caps and be done with it.
  9. @casati I think the Amundsen is possible to order without the phonebox. I have it, it's gone down in price too in the last while. Google maps is a better nav, Apple maps not so much. With the Skoda connect app and using your phone as a hotspot you can use Google for finding addresses though or send destinations to the car for the Amundsen. Handy for businesses and the like. The USB connection on the superb makes it awkward to plug a phone on without it getting in the way. Problem with the heated nozzles is it's the tips that are heated, the lines can still be frozen solid.
  10. Irish spec gets a space saver and Kessy (not alarm as standard). We also get front sensors. I went with the Amundsen in mine. Used one on a mk 7.5 GTI around Europe earlier in the year and couldn't fault it. Plus it has short cut buttons that I think are essential. Screen is fine for the camera and all that, much higher resolution on MY18 cars. Have the heated screen and steering on mine. Both cheap options and worthwhile. Vega wheels are fine on Irish roads. I think the rear wiper is actually standard on the saloon here the last while too but appears on the configurator. As for engine - it's a personal thing. I found the 150 lacked a bit for overtaking. It's power is a bit smoother though. The phonebox (tried it on the golf) is a bit of a waste imo.
  11. I did the Amundsen upgrade - it's a good system, seems much improved on the last version. Used the current one in a Golf around Europe earlier in the year and it didn't put a foot wrong. I know it's the other end of the country but I got very close on 10% with Galvin's in Bandon. That was a straight sale without a trade in but have found they've beaten anyone else with my last three cars.
  12. To be honest it's useful for seeing small obstacles you might otherwise miss. I would have flattened the laziest dog in the world who was sound asleep the other week if it wasn't for the camera. Would have been doubly annoying as the purpose of the Combi is to bring her around in.
  13. I thought I'd scratches on the inside of my screen and it turned out to be glue. Hard glue, and about where you said it was. Worth trying part of it with your finger nail.
  14. Noticed the sportline seats aren't as good as the MK3 VRS heated seats anyway. To me they feel like they're more padded though so it might make a difference. Also they're alcantara as opposed to cloth which may dissapate some of the heat. I notice the difference most higher up the seat.
