Hi Guys,

First post as not an owner..... yet, but hovering on purchasing a new 2.0 TDI Yeti Urban over a Qashqai (currently have a C-Max). The main quality issues I have read on the Yeti, centre around stone chips, high oil consumption and lack of ESP on most marques . The April 2012 brochure lists standard equipment cumulatively above the lower spec model and the E has "protective film on edge of rear doors". With this in mind since the Urban is based on the SE it should have these as standard. ESP is mentioned in the S spec but appears to refer to the green line only. The variable very high oil consumption seems to relate more to the 1.2 and earlier models. Can any of the giant brains on the forum please confirm the following.

• Does the Urban have the protective film?
  
• Is ESP fitted to the Urban?
  
• Have any mods been made to the Yeti diesel engines to address the erratically high oil consumption on some cars?
