Hi,

When I pull the main headlights dial, to switch on the fog lamps (front or back), my hazards start flashing like crazy, and can only be de-activated by turning off the ignition and then re-starting the car.

Is this some sort of 'short' to do with the alarm? .........

Any help or advice on this will be gratefully received.

Not quite heard of this problem before. Do the hazard lights actually flash externally - have you visually checked? or does the hazard relay chatter violently and maybe the lights comes on the dash?

If the latter I would suggest a blast of switch cleaner into the indicator stalk and give it a good wiggle up/down/forwards/backwards.

Hi mate, thanks ......... I was assuming it was the external hazzards to; but I've just checked and you're spot on; it's actually just the internal hazzard relay 'clicker' along with the green dash arrow lights.

Cool, will give your suggestion a go, and also try cleaning up the Hazard switch relay.
