i have a bb bold 9900 on orange network and a superb elegance estate with factory bluetooth kit.

recently i upgraded the firmware on the phone from 7.0 to 7.1.0.342 in order to get wifi calling on the phone.

prior to the upgrade the phone connected flawlessly to the car using the remote sim access profile.

after the upgrade it stopped working. after some fiddling i found the problem was the wifi calling function. turning the function off 'fixed' the problem.

if i connected the phone via hands free profile instead it worked fine.

just thought i would let others know if they had been having problems

Can you tell me how good this phone/car combination is?

I am about to order the superb estate elegance and starting a new job and can have the 9900 if is ok?
