Wiring MKi9200 - with adaptor wiring harness - 2011 Octavia/Bolero

OK, fitted one of these Parrot kits to the Fabia - pretty straight forward as it was plug and play into that head unit.

Now fast forward to the Octavia, and needed to buy the wiring harness.

All wired up (plug and play), but no power to the Parrot, even swapping the switched/permanent wiring.

On closer inspection looks like the 'loose' red wire, on the additional harness, should perhaps be connected to a permanent live

Anyone familiar with this - and if so where should I get the perm live from - scotch lock to the straight through red wire in the existing harness?
