anyone ever tried this? i'm doing mine right now and wanted some pics for inspiration! the speakers are image dynamics idq8. so far i have managed to get the builds done without cutting any of the original door cards!!

where exactly are you putting them then mate?

where the standard 6.5" speakers go in the front door cards.

so are you ditching standard type speakers and just having 8" subs and tweeter or repositioning the 'normal' speakers?

no, i've got 6.5" mids in kicks, tweeters in a pillars and soon 8's in doors
