Featured Replies

I have always used autosol on all of my exhaust tips works a treat with just a rag and elbow grease, i have used a small buffing wheel on my dremel before on a really bad pitted exhaust. You can buy autosol im halfords too or ebay abit cheaper.

As above I use Autosol. Mine came up a treat!

Thanks guys,will get some tomorrow

we sell it in b&q:D

Depends how black it is maybe some scouring pads coupled with autosol should do it :)

Dont do the top with scourer, terrible swirl marks

I did mine last weekend took and hour and a half to polish back up

I used wonder wheels and wd40 alternately to clean the inner chrome

As above I use Autosol on mine, comes up a real treat!

For the really hard stook on crap i use wheel cleaner and a brush. . Rinse it off n dry it then polish after. . Helps quite alot,i use megs all wheels cleaner.

Peek works wonders for me. Collinite is a good choice of wax alsojust don't let it dry too long apply to a full panel then buff off

Autosul with SOFT wire wool from Halfords.

8 year old tip, not bad.

Autosol and a tooth brush then

Same as Big Jase uses good old Autosol and an old toothbrush.

I didn't have Autosol So I used G3 :p

Autosol here too for keeping the blueflame all shiny B)

I'm sure this is a really stupid question but do you remove the tip to clean it or do it in situ?

I got an angle grinder and sawed mine off

Then polished

Then refitted to car with chemical metal! :)

Only joking! Cleaned in situe

ROFL!

 - Told you it was a daft question.

Cheers for replies guys.Got some soft wire wool and Autosol from ebay, should be here this week. Also used Collonite car wax and it has made my car look brand new,im loving it so going to give it another coat tomorrow.

What colour is the car?

Collinite 476s is good for longevity... But if your cars black and want lots of shine get some poorboys black hole wax :)

Its red and the paintwork is still very good appart from a few stonechips.I have the touch up pen but dare not use it incase i make a mess ..lol Its collonite 476s which ive used, very impressed.ive borrowed an electric buffer for the second coat cause i was knackered 1st time :whew:

I know this is strange but a lemon cut in half and rubbed on stains, trims, brake & exhaust grime will come straight off and then use Autosol.

Does this mean half a lemon will bring my grubby green callipers up nice and clean? I'm tempted to try :)
