Sky Email for iPad and iPhone -Push option

Featured Replies

Sky email on any client is a pain to use. You have to enter multiple settings to do with IMAP, ports etc, plus you only get emails delivered to the device when the device logs in and 'pulls' them down from the servers.

The method below will enable the emails to arrive on the device the moment the server has them ready. It's called 'push' email as the server pushes them out to the device.

Here is a far simpler way to get your Sky based email onto an iOS device.

Settings

Mail, Contacts, Calendars

Add Account

Choose Exchange

Type in your sky email address

Leave Domain Blank

Username: full sky email address

Password: your sky password

Description: call it whatever you want

Click Next and it will verify

Server will appear: type in m.google.com

*google and sky share servers

That's it, you can then choose to sync email, contacts and calendar, how many days to sync and which folders to push.
