Any Indy's in Suffolk.

Featured Replies

Hi as the title suggests does anyone know of any VAG Indy's or specialists in the Suffolk area especially Newmarket or Bury st Edmunds area.

I'd also appreciate any recommendations but for Felixstowe/Ipswich area. I know Cattermoles in Ipswich used to be a pre - VAG Skoda dealer but have been given rather lukewarm opinions about them.I am currently using a small indie in F'stowe who is a VAG specialist but every visit seems to find something else wrong with my 2002 1.4 8v . Of course it could be,and probably, is the fact that my particular car is a total heap but I would like a second opinion from a Skoda rather than a VAG guru.

Well after a bit if Internet trawling I stumbled across a independent VAG specialist in bury st Edmunds called MCC engineering,I emailed him for a quote to replace Cambelt and water pump on my vrs and he said it will be a shade under £200. Which sounds a real bargain.his write up on the website sounded good former vw tech also land rover, they also specialise in Volvo as well,so I think I will give him a look.

Im from Newmarket and travel up to unit 18 and I wouldnt really want to go elsewhere. They are brilliant and the drive is easy enough...Id thoroughly recommend that and check their page in the traders part of the site.

Jasons- is your vRS silver by any chance? Or yellow? As they are they are the only two other colours Ive seen in newmarket!!
