does anyone know how you change the high level rear brake light unit please?

unplug brake light above the boot light (from within boot area), then lift up and remove parcel shelf from inside the cabin.

Mine is full of flies & I asked about removing the parcel shelf on here before but I got told it couldn't be done? I will have a look @ it next week.

found out how to change the light, the only way is to get at it from inside the boot, two clips and manouiver it out of the cavity area, replacement the opposite way, a bit of a difficult job if like me, i can get in the boot but not easy getting out, but the only way, the rear parcel shelf does not come off

Parcel shelf lifts up behind rear seats, 4 or 5 push fittings, then you just slide it out. Quite easy, actually, though I have folding seat backs, not sure how it would work on an early Superb.

anyone know the part number and/or an inexpensive place to get a replacement centre brake light? This is for a '05 Superb Elegance if it makes a difference...
