2005 Superb PD130 Auto Elegance

Featured Replies

Hello All

The time has come to sell my Superb, so here goes.

It's a 2005 '05' Elegance PD130 Automatic with 243,000 miles on the clock. I'm the second owner, my uncle owned it from new. This is one of the later Elegance models so comes with Satnav, and the additional rear heated seats.

Basic elegance spec includes

- Cruise control

- Rear parking sensors

- Sat nav

- 6 CD Changer

- 4x heated leather seats

- Electric memory sears

- Auto dim r/v/mirror

- Bi-Xenon headlights

- Traction control

- 17 inch 'Solid' alloy wheels (This one has 4 reletively new Yokohama C-Drive tyres with lots of tread left)

- Electric folding, heated door mirrors with puddle lights

In addition to the standard spec, this car has

- Genuine Skoda lip spoiler

- AUX Socket for MP3/ipod input to the stereo

- Milotec lower bumper trim covers (removable if preferred)

- Facelift rear lights (originals also available if preferred)

- Up-rated battery (from a v6)

History and condition:

As mentioned, this was bought brand new by my uncle from Garland Motors in Hampshire. He ran it up until 190,000 when I bought it off him. In the time he had it, it was washed/hovered/serviced and generally loved more than most of the family! I bought the car in 2009 and have tried to maintain it's outstanding condition.

In 2010 I replaced the front suspension arms with Lemforder items (as fitted by Skoda), and also replaced the outer CV joint gaters. There is a full and comprehensive service history (including receipts for parts, not just stamps in the book). This car has never had any bodywork repairs carried out and is in excellent condition. As you would expect, there are a few stone chips on the front and one small mark on the o/s/r door where someone kindly opened their car door onto it... Other than that, no dents or major paint defects. A couple of the wheels have some kerbing marks but nothing too serious.

The interior is equally impressive. All seats are in good condition, the drivers seat is more 'polished' than the rest but otherwise good - minimal wear to the leather. The interior door handles have a few marks which I can only assume have been caused by people with rings on etc. They could be replaced but I can't say it's ever worried me.

In terms of mechanics, the car starts, goes and stops as Skoda intended. The engine is silky smooth (well, as a PD should be!), doesn't use oil between services and has just passed an MOT without any advisories.

The interior picture is the only one I have at the moment, but I will take one or two better ones when I get a chance.

Price - £1850

Dam i want it, but after putting so much work into mine and clutch etc, wife would kill me. That seems so much car for the money, that will sell quickly, especially with your obvious level of care.
