Xenons? Can it be done?

Featured Replies

I would really like xenons on my VRS mk1. Ive read loads of posts about fitting HID kits to std headlight, sounds like a no no. Ive seen the DEPO OEM type xenons for a reasonable price. My question is could i get a D2S HID kit with aftermarket ballasts and fit to the DEPO headlights? Then chop the D2S piggyback plug of the ballast and join the H4 connector? Could i make the rest of the light function ok? Not too bothered about adjusters etc. Just an idea, Any help appreciated

they are pretty poor compared to the standard lights with uprated bulbs, all for show imo

Genuine xenons fitted to my no xenon car with the use of kufatec loom adaptors

No headlight level function and i lose xenon when on main beam (can be rectified but havent bothered yet)
