Horn help please

Featured Replies

So I beeped the horn when cleaning the car and my little boy wondered what it was so I beeped it a few more times and then it stopped working. Checked the fuses do you think it is most likely a loose wire inside the steering wheel? Is it easy to get to?

Car is driving me crackers at the moment leaking in the footwell (just printed the guide for this!)

Hoping to get all the niggles sorted its such a good drive I don't really want to replace it.

Did the horn tone/volume sound any different as it was being beeped the last time? If so would suspect the horn itself.

It's unlikely the fuse would blow, unless there was a wiring problem, as the fuse and wiring is rated higher than required by the standard horn.

If the horn is easily accessible on your model (grille next to passenger side fog light), you might find it easier to start by checking whether power is reaching the horn using a multimeter first.
