Like Clarkey, I've taken great care with this car, it is always driven conservatively and only ever driven briskly once warmed up and is always allowed plenty of time to cool down.

The setup is intended for longevity and reliability, so whilst the figures are not through the roof, you have a very driveable and responsive car here; which

is very capable and will easily return 600+ miles per tank of fuel. Clarkey specifically requested that power and torque outputs were well within the capabilities of

engine components such as the clutch and turbo, which is exactly what was delivered. All this work was performed by Shark Performance, renowned for their Smooth maps !!

Hopefully the photos do it justice, whilst it looks pretty standard (preferring the subtle approach) the way it drives is rather different; certainly more power and torque, but very refined in it's delivery.

Clarkey previously spent considerable time washing, claying, polishing and waxing it twice a year; after which it is was washed weekly (at least) and topped up with a layer of Collinite regularly. I have tried to maintain it to a similar standard in the short period I have owned the car but must admit it is not to Clarkey’s regime.

Bad bits? Well, there are a few inevitable stone chips and the driver's and passenger's seats show some wear, but are still in very good condition.

This really is a great car and is (in my mind) complete as it is. Each modification has genuinely improved the car, for example the brakes, whilst retaining

the OEM appearance. It sails through MOTs each year too (note there is 9 months MOT remaining too), which is nice.

So, the photos:

If anyone has any photo requests regarding the vehicle, let me know and I'll endeavour to get some more up for you.

The car is at a YO43 (East Yorkshire) postcode and please contact me view PM to arrange viewing.

This is a truly amazing car and it is with regret that I am selling.

I'd like to keep the thread clutter free, so if you have any queries please PM me.

I am aware there are similar cars on the forum for sale and for that reason I am asking a realistic/competitive Price – bearing in mind her outstanding condition and that she has just been serviced

Thanks for looking.

As some of the more Eagle-eyed forum members amongst you may have realised the reason I am selling "Lashonda" is that I have now purchased the Ultimate Fabia VRS in Rich's car.

That said this car for sale is absolutely amazing and is a credit to its former owner "Clarkey".

So grab yourselves an absolute bargain of this well sorted, stunning car!!

hi Daz just like to say thanks for the test drive and was really impressed by how the car was set up and how nice it drove , but was in 2 minds to go for an SE and after seeing your new SE then i new i had to get one and i did today number 029, you should have no problem with getting lashonda a new home for sure . all the best Daz with the sale and may see you sometime , hope the ultimate SE is everything you wanted cheers Alan

I must be feeling generous after coming back off holiday !!

The first person with an offer over £4500 can have this fantastic car !

Don't delay, this is time limited as I am considering insuring it for another year and keeping the two cars, extravagant I know.

Took the car to Elvington TOTB show today - lots of people were interested saying if they had the money they would buy it !!

I suppose it was encouraging though.

The car is now SOLD and has gone to a fellow member and I am sure he will enjoy her as much as I did.

It was sad to see her go but I do still have my new one to play with
