hi has any one bought a car from car quake, how do they operate ...

they have a 2013 vrs est for 16995 .... so very intrested, but i know couple of people who have had dealings with brokes and not had good experiance ..

Not sure if this is still valid but Skoda are/were doing VAT free (20% discount) on the Octavia.

£21,480 list but with discount it's £17,184 so it's less than £190 off the website price. For that discount, I'd stick with a dealer.

They will probably match it or throw in extra's...

Just to clarify, the exVAT cost based on the info above would be 17,900 (21480/1.2) as its not 20% of the final price but 20% of the exVAT price

after doing some home work this weekend best price is nearly £1000 more then car quake

does any one know how they work, do they contact a dealer for me or are they pre-reg ....

They could be including the £500 dealer deposit for taking skoda finance off this price in the small print. I'm looking for a new VRS and noticed some sites are deducting this from the overall price making them look cheaper than the dealers. Drivethedeal.com gives you a good idea of total price if you're adding on extras but remember dealers show the £500 in deposit section of any quote but the overall price is the same.
