I don't think there is a fan switch, The fans are controlled by the ecu which will switch the relay or cooling module ,

the ecu will use the engine temp switch

Oops, I wonder where I'm going to put the "radiator fan switch for Octavia 2" that I bought on Ebay ??? I should really check before I go buying stuff on the internet.
