Superb 170 DSG Elegance Estate

Featured Replies

Well three weeks into owning my Superb Estate in Amethyst metallic and what a car. 59 to the gallon from Rugby to Southampton and back with Climate on auto. Pulls like a train and everyone in family impressed with car including the park assist. Wiped a few smiles off the "its a Skoda"! camp in the family I can tell you!

Even found out it plays DVD's when not moving and the leather seats are so comfortable. Downsides? I get nervous parking in car parks in case some idiot knocks it. It feels big when around town. Got my i-phone set up and why oh why did Skoda not fit a USB charging port? Overall though chuffed to bits

Excellent news.

My 170 4x4 Elegance landed in England on Friday and I'm so looking forward to it. You need to update your Sig now as its says you have the Octy!

glad you are enjoying your new car,if you have a media connection in the glove box your phone will charge from that mine does.

Same car as me and having 'traded down' from an E class estate I was prepared for some compromises. However, I am amazed by how good this car is compared to the merc. The ride is slightly less luxurious but overall this car is stunning and I would have had to spend close on £50k for the equivalent specd e class estate.

Next Skoda at our abode will be a Superb CR170 Estate, probably the 4x4 Elegance. When you consider how much an equivalent Audi A6 Avant would cost......Next year I will be spending more time in the Superb II forum than the Yeti/Octavia one. I am checking weekly the availability on the used Skoda car locator, a car in demand, esp the 4x4 Elegance CR170.

Good news Skoda Bob - glad you are enjoying it.

How do you find it from the Octavia?

Well to be honest I really liked my Octavia Estate but the Superb is in a different class altogether. The handling on the Superb is a lot tighter round corners and it just "feels" well sorted.
