I,m a newcomer to the site so a big Hello to everyone. I have an 08 fabia. Which has done 25000 miles. Would other Fabia owners recommend a cam belt change and what would be the approx cost. Caseyj

Re: Your question, you're better off asking in the relevant Fabia forum ;)

Hi and welcome! Its recommended that you change the cambelt every 4 years or 60,000 miles. I have been told that the time is the most important factor so 4 years. I had this done on my 2006 1.4 tdi in 2010 at a Skoda dealer and it cost £300. Cheaper than a new engine though!!

Cheers,

If in Beds, ten perhaps , Unit 18 is not too far away. Try an e mail to them - might get a pleasant response .
