Spoiler "glue" stuff

Featured Replies

What's the product used to attach the spoiler and where to buy it?

Cheers

Tiger seal is the best one but any silicone sealant will do m8 from b&q etc

Sent from my Galaxy S2 not a Crapple!

Called polyurethane adhesive. Vile black stuff that you can't get off your fingers once on there. Tiger Seal is one brand but often there's own brand stuff too a bit cheaper which is the same stuff really. Skeleton gun needed to apply.

Ok great, apparently this is the same sort of stuff? (Screwfix near me, otherwise have to order some in)

yes it is the same stuff, once on and cured you won't remove it..

Hi mate,

This'll be for your spoiler on its way to you. Cos the spoiler is held on by two bolts either end, you only really need something to "mount" the contact points. I use an exterior grade non silicone sealant which'll work out cheaper than the screwfix item.

could always pop into a bodyshop, and ask them for a tube of Sikaflex. just like **** to a blanket

I actually use a 2 part flexi boat glue ( water, salt, UV proof) awesome stuff aslong as you don't want it off again
