Ok I was sure I had a build thred on here but I just canni find it I I'll do a new one

Ok now I built this car on a budget and used some cheep parts so I'm expecting the opinions and haters to throw down some keyboard warrior tactics, go for it I don't care

Rite now that's out the way on with frank.

He's a red octavia Vrs estate I picked him up about 2 1/2 years ago with 60k on the clock and it went like this

Me: what you think love

Misses: that looks sensible

Me: yer I love it

Misses: it's unlike you to want a car that has no "juped up" stuff on it

Me: yer well I'm growing up I think it's time to move away from modded cars

Misses: ok go for it, sooo your not going to do anything to it???

Me: naaaaaa

Well about 2 days passed and I went to see a mate of mine that makes custom maps and threw a whole £100 at him and he worked his magic

Then the following happend in the next month

Extirior:

Satin black

Wheels, grill and badges

Debaged

Deleted wiper

A few stickers

Engine:

Rs4 diverter in sure it's the same but a mate had one knocking around

Carbon enclosed induction again a mate gave to me unsure of make but came off his m3

As mentioned the unnamed map

Uprated ht leads

Bosh super 4 plugs

Fmic eBay cheepooooo

Relocated dv to cold side DIY

Braided brake lines

Green stuff pads

Then went for a trip to Charlie at Surrey rolling road

I was expecting 210-220bhp and frank made 228.6 bhp

Massive grinns and Charlie loves it " fook me u built that under 1k!!!! "

Oh yes

Now 2 years and not really done much I'm still really happy with him

But I'm looking at new wheels and some more mods I.e coillieees

Now I like different sonany ideas on wheels are welcome I'm thinking eather banded steels 17" or ronal aero 18's I do love these wheels

Excuses 1)oh dam my anti roll bar bushes are worn don't worry darling I'll order a new one from white line and you have to do the back at the same time oh we'll

2) tyres are worn that's ok I seen a new set of wheel going cheep on eBay with new tyres I'll just get those

3) the exhaust mount I'd broken that's ok I'll take it to my custom exists guy and have him make up a new one ( exhaust that is)
