I need to replace the brake pedal switch but i cant seem to figure out how to remove the dash panel below the steering wheel. has anyone done this job that could talk me threw it?

im also still trying to figure out which switch i need as apparently there are 2 types.?

You need to unplug it first and then turn the whole unit. Like a bottle cap; unscrew it from the mount.

ok thanks, but any idea on how to remove the dash panel below the steering wheel? i can only find 1 torx bolt.! surely there are more than 1.?

There are two under the steering wheel. One on the left and one on the right. You need to go really low to actually see them and maybe use a flashlight.

Then there are 3 behind the plastic cover, that covers the fusebox. To remove it just pull out towards the seat it will eventually release.

And be sure to put the cover back on correctly. There are 2 "carriers" under the steering, where the cover needs to go in. If not, you will get vibrating noise when driving. Been there, had that
