EML light on..

Featured Replies

and the only fault code i got is the SAI realy open circuit. (as i have removed it) I didnt think that would make the EML light come on??

anyone know what resister i need?

I have the same thing - I had it mapped out on my Shark stage 2 map but they recently supplied me an updated map without that mod = so I have EML light too.

Just pull relay out in fuse box as it will just blow resister to bits as it will try and flow to much current through it.

Just get it mapped out when you've finished front mount etc

I ran with light on for 6 months with sai removed didnt have any problems

I would expect a fault for SAI incorrect flow until it's mapped out. If the SAI relay has been removed then put it back in.

then the sai will come on... its still on the car but all pipeless. ill just get it mapped out.

just wanted to confirm it was "normal" as i didnt think that would make the EML come on. Impressed thats the only fault code i got after everything that i have done recently. :)

Cheers guys.

Leave the relay in place. Unplug the SAI pump or remove the fuse from on top of the battery (the large fuse link nearest the 3 green ones). The only error you will then get is Incorrect Flow.
