  1. Budget tyres and soft suspension on Superb isn't a great combo. I have 2018 superb 280 and until i upgraded the suspension it used to be very floaty...had a hairy moment on Autobahn few years back at around 120mph going over slightl bump and strong side wind....and that was with Conti Sport 7 tyres. Upgraded front and rear anti roll bars and fitted Bilstein B6 Performance shock absorbers two years ago and it made lot of difference
  2. Absolutely love this built, so much love and passion gone into Gandalf. He must be the happiest superb under sun 🌞 💊ðŸŧ
  3. Talking of bad influence of this forum ðŸĪŠ i bought my superb so i will finally have car that doesn't need anything else out of the box....10k + spent later i wonder 😂
  4. You will get to it when you ready 😊 small steps every time 👍ðŸŧ
  5. I've looked into it but wasn't 100% convinced...you can do simple conversion or buy LED upgrade kit. I'm quite happy with current set up as it is 😊
  6. Yes fog lights have been done also. Same make and model of fog light bulbs but halogen, need to get picture of them, definitely whiter than originals
  7. I had this happen on my 2018 sportline 280...replaced driver's side rear, three weeks later other rear failed so ended up changing both. Checked fuses, wiring etc, swapped both units and yeah it was dead....220 quid per side
  8. Just had new bulbs fitted to replace old factory xenon bulbs. I went for D3S Osram Xenarc Blue Intense and they are fantastic. Car is Superb Sportline 280 year 2018
  9. Just wanted to share a before and after pics of new bulbs fitted to my Superb. D3S Osram Xenarc Blue Intense to replace old factory bulbs. New bulbs are definitely brighter and have nice modern look with more more crisp light output. Thought it might help someone if they're deciding what bulbs to fit. Second photo are the Osram bulbs
  10. I love the look of your car with all the add ons makes it look quite mean 😎
  11. Those are nice figures from stage 1+ 😎 Yes the JB4 has been faithful companion of my superb since 2021 and not a single fault with it. Its just like you say you can only get so much out of it. Luckily there is no MOT where i live for now 😁 but still i wanted to keep my downpipe road legal 😑
  12. Those are some decent figures i bet it surprises few unsuspecting cars that want to play ðŸĪŠ Did you think about going for stronger internals? What front splitter is it on your? Maxton? I'd love to go stage 3 might be an idea for next year 😂
  13. Yes yes pre-gpf, but it doesn't feel much faster on pull than JB4, it feels more civilised 😁 if that makes sense
  14. Thank you JR RS, It is completely different car now. Plenty of smiles yesterday 😁😁😁 My tuner said he could go higher on power but i just wanted safe reliable map usable for everyday driving. He has added some nice burble on overrun but compared to JB4 tune this map is nowhere near as loud as before which i quite like. Soft limiter has also been removed. Do you still own your Superb?
