Which re-circ valve to buy?

Featured Replies

As the title says, looking to uprate the recirc valve on my MK1 Octy VRS, just wondered which one to get, and does anybody have one for sale??

Forge 007p is the usual choice. The compbrake is a good choice, bit cheaper than the forge. second hand ones usually get snapped up quick

Compbrake on mine for nearly 3 years without any issues, I'm sure people spend extra on the forge one coz of the name lol

Sent from my Galaxy S2 not a Crapple!

ive got a forge 007p on mine, others have compbrakes, some stay with the oem valve,as long as there working well they all do the same thing(most people use a forge/compbrake after remap)

I have a Forge 008 on mine its works fine and most definitely holds boost for longer on a remapped car over the OEM.

Give us a shout if you need any further help :)

Gee

Got a few in stock samé design as the forge for alot less send m? a pm if you want a price

Hth

I have a gfb hybrid on mine, same company as whiteline I think, knew the guy who imported whiteline stuff into the UK so got the valve cheap but its been on 5 years and I've never touched it,its built like a tank.

i had a gfb hybrid, great valve only got rid because they dont work to well on remaped engine(so i was told),expensive to, think i paid nearly £200 for mine about 9 years ago from ggr

Got a 2 year old Forge on mine which I bought at a discount when I had a re-map done - about 50 quid IIRC.

Works as well now as it did then.

In conjunction with a replacement panel Pipercross filter, gives a lovely 'Tsssshhhh' noise INSIDE the car for me to enjoy - without silly noises outside the car to mark me out as a Billy Boy :)

ive got a baileys dv30 and its great!
