steering knock?

Featured Replies

help please

53 plate vrs is playing up lol the steering makes a cracking noise when i lock from side to side and sometimes when i put it in reverse after driving forward changed strut mounts, strut bearings, springs, shocks, anti roll bars, links, s3 rear wishbone bushes and a drivers side inner tie rod all done over the past few months and no change???????

any ideas

might be the column? or the rack if all else is changed.

are you sure the drive shafts are not catching on something? what about the ARB bushes? is the ARB moving?

Track rod ends? That's what cured mine

Sent from my Galaxy S2 not a Crapple!

you might actually find its brake pads, mine crack and clunk when changing from forward to reverse and lock to lock. The pads have maybe a tiny gap where they are retained in the caliper, If it is this its fine and nothing to worry about.
