I am interested in changing my Octavia for a Fabia VRS and came across this, as It has a VRS plate I wondered if it used to belong to anyone on here who could advise if it is a good buy

Sorry i dont know the vehicle,

but i take it you would be looking at getting it for rather less than that asking price.

The Road Tax is £135 now.

Does it have Front Fog Lights fitted,

is it not just the Side Lights which act as DRL's?

Are they Automatic Headlight Elevation, or is it a Manual Adjustment by the driver?

all fabia vRS's have no front fogs, and LED DRL's (That dim to be used as sidelights when the headlights are on) and none come with self levelling xenon lights... not even as an option...

Just because i like testing the Sales Person when haggling over a price reduction or deal, or for mis-representing a vehicles Spec

in their advertising.

Was 'Auto Dimming rear view mirror' an option? (i really do not know)

The Door Mirrors are Heated & Electrically adjustable,

but only foldible by hand,

(but then thats just the wording that can be read either way..)

Brochure says.

'interior rear view mirror with dimming facility',

That will again be 'Manual' dimming facility on mine then.

Mirror was never an option. Most interesting point for me is the 5 speed manual gear box in the Vrs???

Skoda Dealership Senior Receptionist last week told me that there were no Automatic vRS when getting a quote on a Service.

Would not believe that they all were,

then she came to an arrangement which stopped her looking stupid in front of others & that 'i was mistaken'

and they are Semi-automatic so really they were 'manuals'.

I wouldn't say it was completely deliberate. Some of the sales guys I've spoken to haven't got a bloody clue what they're talking about as far as spec goes etc ...... :no:

My salesman ordered the wrong rims with the car luls... Damn Dark Chrome that came with it!
