I have a mk1 Skoda octavia 1.8 vrs 2003, It has 115k on the clock and i am looking to get the cambelt and waterpump changed within the next couple of months , It was last changed at 70 k before i purchased it 3 years a go , Does anyone have any recomendations for garages in the Staffordshire, Stoke on trent area or around Chesire that carry out the work , Whats an decent price for the parts supplies and work carried out ,

I paid £190 for a cambelt, water pump and coolant change (and tensioners). He's in Market Drayton, let me know if you want me to put you in touch with the guy!

Not sure about stoke area but im taking mine to CC Tuning in Burton on Trent in a couple of weeks time. Im getting all the parts and he's charging me £60 labour to fit everything. Pretty reasonable I thought.

Not sure how far Midlands VW are from you, but they are in Staffordshire (Cannock area) and are very knowledgeable and reasonably priced.
