They start to do that with age. Part number for new ones:

Skoda emblem - 1U0 853 621 C

Or PM Pastyboy for aftermarket goodness :)

White worm caused by moisture getting in lol

Sent from my Galaxy S2 not a Crapple!

Or this one:

New Skoda Rear Emblem (from the Citigo)

1ST 853 630A AUL

Collecting mine later today.

will go and get new badges and get them on, any tips about removing them and putting new ones on

Front one is stuck with double sided sticky pad and has two plugs that poke through and are melted at the back. Have a look, you'll see. You might need to snap them or drill them a bit to loosen it.

Rear one is just stuck with double sided pad and has two locating holes in the tailgate underneath.

@Rob

Looking for an update on the Citigo badge :happy: . They're selling them on SuperSkoda it seems, and although I've order some PB ones, I might prefer the new style badge.

will look at it tomorrow and get new badges will give it a better look, its sitting outside on the jack as a massive bold got stuck in the rear outside tyre and dented the rim and the spare was also surprisingly punctured

They have three locating pegs on the back but they are designed to be easily snapped off.

The back is flat ready to stick to the tailgate, once the pegs are gone, but it is 85mm rather than the standard mk1 80mm so it won't fit the front grille.

Looks good m8, shame there isn't any new skodas with a 80mm badge.

That's not what I wanted to hear. However, it means I know I have to stick to the pastyboy version now.

The new badge will fit the front grille it will just be raised. Seen a fabia mk1 with it
