From what I remember I think the diesel is quicker than the petrol in your normal driving ranges. The performance chip sounds dodgy - I would swap that for a remap. I thought they were 170bhp so 180 chip isn't huge? Could be completely wrong as I'm no expert on mk1s or mk2s even! :)

Yeah that's very true. I didn't think people even bothered with "chips" anymore. cheers

By the looks of it I would say this isn't a vRS but i'm not 100% sure about mk2's. Love the wheels though!!!!
