Gave my sister and her family the use of my Superb for a holliday trip to France, and on returning it to me last Saturday morn her words to me were "we had a mis-hap .

Somehow while reaching back to get something from back seat, a can of something came flying forward and hit the Columbus screen and cracked it. While the display is all there and everything seems to work (via steering wheel etc), the "touch screen function" is no more

I have found several replacement screen units on Ebay, with huge differences in the price. Cheapest by far was to be found in the USA

Before I order this part, can any1 confirm to me that the part is indeed the correct part I will need?

Any1 know if it is a job I would be able to do myself? (I am not to bad with a spanner or screwdriver)

There are two types of RNS-510 displays - with CCFL backlight and with LED backlight, be sure to get the right one. I assume that your Superb has a LED backlight if this navigation was installed from the factory.

I recommend to disassemble your unit first - front panel is held by 4 screws, display PCB by some 6-8 screws and few locking tabs.
