Rotiform BLQ wheels on mk1 vrs?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Looking for a nice set of wheels for my Octavia got 19" tt wheels at the mo but bad offset and heavily curbed n buckled from previous owner.

Anyone have any pics of a mk1 vrs with the BLQ wheels or any other pics of really nice wheels that suit the car?

Thanks

Surely the sticky at the top is the place to start...

Okay, admittedly, many of them aren't exactly the height of good taste. Personally I like Spiders just fine. In fact I think they're one of the best looking standard fit alloys going...

This is my second Octavia vrs n in black too, had spiders on my first n these 19's on my current one if the fitment was better I wud prob just have the tt wheels returned but the fronts stick out a load!

Okay, I just googled Rotiform BLQ and seen them on an A4...and I threw up a little... perhaps I'm too old?

I think the rimfest page is probably the right place for you!

Just a quick question also... JOM coilovers on eBay very cheap.... Anyone known to have a set fitted?

There's a few about. Do some searches on here. IIRC, the Jom ones were pretty naff, in most peoples opinion, but my memory's getting old too! :giggle:

Yup. And more particularly, the blue S4 Estate. :drunk:

Mmmm CH's are gooood :)

Yea just need to look into lowering as well but is all cost etc

Tell me about it mate, although the good thing with reps is you'll get the rite offset :) and could have 9j rears

That is always one little regret i get :( wide rears mmmm

But why the heck would you want wide rears on a fwd car that has (as standard) a wobbly rear axle and too much back end grip, hence the understeer? You'd need to fit an even bigger/stiffer rear torsion bar.

Just looks lush in my opinion mate :)

Wide rears, stretched tyres and DECKED :)

Again tho thats my taste :)

Depends what your doing with it at the end of the day too, obviously my taste doesnt make sweet track cars lol

Whereas to me it just looks like the owners haven't the faintest idea about mechanics/physics and dream of owning a pimped up Merc or Beemer. If the looks really are that important you'd at least be better off in a rwd designed for such a configuration in the first place, then at least your insurance company won't have a sh!t fit. ;)

Pah :D thats if its you looking lol

Ive never wanted a tricked bm or merc :)

As said , people opinions are their own ;)

If all the cars were done the same....... Well it would make for very boring forums and shows :)

Wide rears, stretched tyres and DECKED :)

With ya on that one. Nice :)

It's all about 3SDM 0.05's

Rotiform's are nice but they've been done to death.
